Measles in our Community?

2/7/2019

Measles had been all but eliminated in the United States, when vaccinations for the disease became available, decades ago. Due to increasing numbers of unvaccinated inhabitants, the disease is back, and spreading throughout the Pacific Northwest.
School districts require measles vaccination, among others. For more information, visit:

The not-so-long winter break is days away. Reporting periods for most Oregon schools are ending in early January.

As the evenings are getting shorter we spend more time indoors, it's a good idea to take a walk when the weather is bearable, and reflect how lucky we are to live in this community, surrounded by beauty, and within short drives of even more beauty.
